Welcome, Gelfling, to a world trapped in a repeating cycle of despair. For millennia, time has been rewound, a desperate gambit by Thra's guardian, Aughra, to mend the fractured Crystal of Truth. Countless Gelfling have walked this path before you, believing themselves to be the chosen one, only to fail. Now, it is your turn. You are the latest in this long line of heroes, but you can be the last. The cycle is yours to break.
The Story of Thra
In the beginning, a song of creation brought forth the universe, its three suns, and the world of Thra. At the planet's heart lay the perfect Crystal of Truth. From the very soil of the world, the Crystal created Mother Aughra to be Thra's guardian.
During a Great Conjunction of the three suns, strange visitors arrived from a distant world: the urSkeks. They were beings of knowledge and culture, and they raised the Crystal from the heart of Thra and placed it within a grand citadel they sang from the rock.
But a terrible fate awaited them. The urSkeks were split by the Crystal's light, divided into two new races: the gentle, wise urRu, often called Mystics, and the cruel, greedy Skeksis. The Skeksis now rule Thra with an iron fist, their corrupt reign a blight upon the land.
Your Quest
Your ultimate goal is to unite the peoples of Thra against the tyrannical Skeksis, heal the darkened Crystal, and restore balance to the world.
To do this, you will embark on a series of perilous quests to gather vital crystal shards, powerful artifacts, and lost knowledge. Your journey will feature branching narratives where every choice you make impacts the story's progression.
All paths lead to the Crystal Castle. You and your allies must lead the final, desperate assault on the heart of Skeksis dominion, confront the Lords of the Crystal, and end their reign of terror forever.

The Seven Gelfling Clans
- Drenchen: Proud hunters from the Swamp of Sog, famed for their ability to breathe underwater.
- Grottan: Believed to be extinct, these cave-dwellers can see perfectly in the darkest tunnels.
- Sifa: Gregarious and mysterious sailors and mystics from the coasts of the Silver Sea.
- Stonewood: Fierce and dedicated warriors who were among the first to rebel against the Skeksis.
- Vapra: The most prosperous clan, known for their cultural, intellectual, and artistic pursuits.
- Spriton: A widespread clan focused on agriculture, crafting, and animal husbandry.
- Dousan: Spiritual and quiet desert nomads who understand the inevitability of death.
The Podling Professions
Do not underestimate the courage of the Podlings. These small, skittish folk possess unique and essential skills.
- The Trapper: An expert at setting snares and disarming traps with exceptional luck.
- The Herbalist: A compassionate caregiver with a deep understanding of medicinal plants and natural remedies.
- The Storyteller: A keeper of tradition and lore, weaving tales that can inspire allies and even preserve magic.
